  Sorna - From its elevated position, is blessed with spectacular sea and mountain views to rival the best in the Costa Blanca overlooking miles of coastline. The spacious and comfortable interior walks out onto south-facing sun terrace with a shaded area for al fresco dining to watch the sun setting over the distant mountains to the front.The picturesque marina of El Portet, with a select choice of bars, shops and restaurants, is just a few minutes drive away, with the full range of amenities in Moraira and sweeping sandy beach in the next bay. With such an outstanding location, coupled with every modern convenience, Sorna provides the backdrop for a thoroughly relaxing family holiday. Accommodation - On the ground floor there is a large fully fitted kitchen, cloakroom and a large living room,  with a 42" wall-mounted Plasma Satellite Television*, DVD player, hi-fi system, PlayStation2 (Please note that this is not a guaranteed facility as it may not be working whilst you are there (possibly due to problems with setup, tampering by previous guests, etc. This facility is provided by the owner for your enjoyment and the local contact will not be able to help with assistance should you require it) and a ceiling fan.The dining area, with a solarium window and many doors, leads out onto a covered alfresco dining area, with barbecue, and a large secluded terrace with a free-form shaped swimming pool**. The sun arrives on the sun terraces at approximately 10am and is with you all day until it sets across the mountains. An internal staircase leads to the first floor where the master bedroom,with a four-poster king-sized bed and ceiling fan, has an en-suite bathroom and its own large terrace for private bathing - please note that there is  limited hanging space in the wardrobe but there is a chest of drawers.There are two further large bedrooms, with king-sized double beds (one of these has a split mattress so can be made as separate beds - please request), sharing a bathroom and a further private terrace. All bedrooms are to the front of the property and enjoy the stunning sea and mountain views, so there is no argument for the best room. The beautiful bay and child-safe beach of EL Portet is a 20 minute walk (initial steep downhill), or just minutes in the car, where you can enjoy all water sports and dine in the cafes on the waters edge. Heating - For the winter lets the villa has full central heating - charged extra based upon meter readings taken at the beginning and end of your stay. Please note that the heating costs on this villa will be above the average heating costs explained more fully on the links to the extras page below, because the villa is elevated and more exposed to weather conditions and has a considerable amount of plate glass fronting the living room to the pool area, making it less heat retentive. More information about villa usage deposits & charges Usage Deposits - A 50 Pound deposit (per week, except July/August), irrespective of whether you will be using it or not, is required for above. This will appear automatically on the booking form. *Digital Satellite Television - currently includes BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channels 4 & 5, SKY Movies Premier 1, SKY Sports 1 & 2, SKY 1, Discovery and UK Gold. IMPORTANT NOTE: These channels were in operation at the time of installation and could change depending on the service providers. We cannot guarantee which channels will be in operation when you are there. IMPORTANT NOTE - Please be aware that the villa is built on a steep plot so the driveway has a steep incline and that there are twenty steps up to the entrance on the ground floor, from the car-parking area. ** Because of the proximity of the swimming pool to the villa and sun terrace, and the deep end of the pool (2.1m deep approx), young children must be supervised at all times.
