older colonial-style character villa, within a secluded and completely private lush garden.
The villa of 160 m2 is built on a plot of 650 m2, and feels very private as the garden is well-established with mature trees and foliage, and surrounded by similar, older-style, villas of character and charm.
Situated in the residential area of Carrio, which is north of the Levante bay of Calpe, not far from Les Bassetes, which is a small picturesque bay with beach, port, rental facilities for boats and surfboards, navigation classes, and 'el timon' which is a good quality fish restaurant and bar.
There is ample car parking within the plot, and, as with many of the designs of this type of villa, you have a large covered terrace of 30m2, to shelter from the heat of the day.
Accommodation - The villa is arranged as two separate apartments, over two floors, but with an external staircase linking the two. Ideal for two familes or one with older children. This is important to note as the layout is not suitable for a family with young children, who want to be accommodated together on the first floor main accommodation, as there is only a one bedroom there.
On the ground the floor there is large family bedroom with twin beds (can be made up as a large double - please request when booking), single bedroom, bathroom and a separate cloakroom, a small summer kitchen and a dining & living room, with doors opening onto the covered terrace.
On the first floor you will find the main living room with Satellite television*, dining room, kitchen (small & compact, basic but in good condition), cloakroom, bathroom, double bedroom, and adjacent terrace.
Outside - the 8 x 4 metre rectangular swimming pool (with Roman steps) is surrounded by a sun terrace, outside shower, and the gardens. There is also a barbecue.
*Satellite Television - Currently includes BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channels 4 & 5, SKY Movies Premier 1, SKY Sports 1 & 2, SKY 1, Discovery and UK Gold plus the usual free-to-view channels.
