casa Redonda - gets its name from its unusual design, the accommodation is arranged around an enclosed circular interior courtyard. The property is located in a privileged location of 'Baladrar', on the coastal road between Moraira and Calpe, a few minutes from a local beach, supermarket and other amenities. You enter via a sliding metal gate onto a large parking area, for upto four cars, that fronts the villa. Steps lead upto the ground floor level where most of the accommodation is (apart from one bedroom, and a roof terrace, on the first floor) including access to the swimming pool and terrace to the back of the property. Ground Floor: The main entrance is to the large and spacious living/dining room with a leather sofa suite and a Digital Satellite Television* with free-to-view channels. A very private feature courtyard in the middle of the villa provides for outside dining and is a very pleasant sun-trap, accessed via patio doors from the living room and hallway. To the left of the living room is the dining area, which leads onto the separate fully-fitted modern kitchen. From the kitchen you enter a short covered passage, with the double bedroom in front, and access to the courtyard toyour right. A few steps THROUGH the courtyard gives you access to the bathroom and double bedroom. A short covered passageway connects these two rooms.
Upper Floor: has internal and external staircases and comprises of a twin bedroom with balcony, another bathroom and access to the large roof terrace.
The Swimming Pool is 8 x 4 kidney-shaped and has surrounding terraces and garden.
Please Note: The grounds of the villa are totally enclosed, and relativeley secure, but once outside you have a busy road to cross to get to the beach, and young children must be supervised.
The villa is only a 5 minute walk to the sea, a rocky cove 'cala Baladrar', and further beaches along the coastal road.
There are many amenities close at hand, within an easy 5-10 minute walk, such as an excellent supermarket, bank with ATM, choice of restaurants, bars, shops, butcher etc. The nearest Golf course is 'Club de Golf Ifach' which is a 5 minute drive away.
*Digital Satellite Television - FreeSat Free-to-View system has over 150 channels and includes BBC 1&2; ITV1,2&3; C4, C5, More4; Film4; TrueMovies; Movies4Men; News channels etc... IMPORTANT NOTE: These channels were in operation at the time of installation and could change depending on the service providers. We cannot guarantee which channels will be in operation when you are there.
Air-conditioning/warm-air heating & Pool Heating is charged extra - based upon meter readings taken at the beginning and end of your stay.

Additional Deposit - 25 pound for air-conditioning/warm-air heating (throughout the year), and 50 pound for pool heating (not July/Aug), deposit (per week) is required, irrespective whether you will be using it or not. This will appear automatically on the booking form.
IMPORTANT POOL HEATING NOTE - Please note that it is difficult to estimate the cost of pool heating (average cost in 2006/07 was 30 pounds pw rising with fuel increases to May 2008 of 50 pounds pw), as you are able to control it yourself and heating depends on the ambient temperature during your period of stay. Should you use the heating economically, with a medium setting when it is not cold or wet using the pool cover (provided at most villas) at all times when the pool is not in use, then an approximate cost would be 7 Pound per day, depending on outside temperature. Should you use the pool at the highest heat setting and leave it on 24 hours a day, with no pool cover blanket, then the price can escalate. Average projected cost of air/con for 2008 is 23 pounds pw (figures taken from used occupancy in 2007 and projected due to increase fuel costs up to May 2008.
