A complete holiday destination, situated on the outskirts of the lively resort of Calpe, approximately 32 kilometres (20 miles) north of Benidorm and the nearby 'Terra Mitica' theme park, and 80 kilometres (50 miles) north of Alicante.
It is a select, managed, residential complex of low-rise fully self-contained 'Bungalows'* built on a south-facing hillside, within a backdrop of beautiful mountain scenery. The resort has been built, and is operated, to a very high standard and is affiliated to RCI.
*Please note that the units are called 'Bungalows' when they are in fact 2-story terraced buildings. Type T1 units occupying one floor and type T2 & T3 units are over both floors.
The units are well sited and all have spectacular panoramic views out towards the coast, the rock of 'Ifach' and Calpe town. The town and beaches are 2-3 kilometres (1.5 miles) away. From the accommodation, you can look out directly over the Mediterranean Sea and experience bright vivid sunsets over the mountains in the evenings. ON-SITE FACILITIES - 24 hour Reception Desk, multi-lingual staff, with general information on the on-site facilities and the surrounding areas. Also, sale of tickets for local attractions, fax service, internet access, private telephone usage, safety deposit box rental, money exchange, cot hire, excursions, etc. Can also assist in referring to nearby 24 hour Medical clinic, if required.
Swimming Pools - Superb, monitored, very large open-air swimming pool complex (very safe for children) with several pools, waterfalls, a childrens pool with aquatic games tower and a 75 metre slide. Open 10:00 to 20:00 (18:00 in winter).
Also - sun loungers, tropical gardens, table tennis, pool table, mini-club for children (April-Sept), family entertainment (high season only), and much more including sauna, gym etc.
Additional services nearby - facilities available at the nearby sister Hotel Esmeralda (via minibus) for an additional, discounted, charge: Indoor Swimming Pool; Fitness/Aerobics Complex; Spa/Sauna/Turkish Baths/Jacuzzi Suite and Solarium.

ACCOMMODATION - All the units are immaculately presented, and maintained, and tastefully decorated with similar high quality furnishings. The fabrics and furnishings, used throughout, are of a high standard and colour co-ordinated. High quality ceramic tiles and varnished natural pinewoods give the property a warm, modern Spanish feel.
The accommodation comprises of a fully-equipped kitchen (gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee machine etc), open plan dining area, a comfortable, brightly furnished lounge with telephone (direct dial telephone service), cable television with 16 channels of which 3 are English (CNN, BBC World & Eurosport).
A good-sized south-facing sun terrace, with table and chairs, is accessed via patio doors leading off from the lounge.

Type T1 - 1 double bedroom plus sofabed in lounge (sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children) and a large fully-tiled bathroom.

SERVICE - daily cleaning (with the exception of the kitchen and its utensils), daily change of towels and change of bed linen every 4 days. Beach/pool towels are not provided.

ALL-INCLUSIVE - Includes: Full board, Buffet meals, with mineral water, wines, soft drinks and beer during the meals.
From 11.00 a.m. until 12.00 midnight, alcoholic beverages (local brands), plus beer and soft drinks, coffee and tea.
Snacks and ice cream from 11.00 a.m until 13.00, from 15.30 until 19.30 and from 22.00 until 24.00.
Air-Conditioning & Warm-Air Heating - Included in rental cost.
Parking - is available on-site. Underground car parking, and spaces nearer the accommodation, are available for an additional small daily charge.
Laundry - Coin-operated washing machines and dryers in communal area. Alternatively a laundry service is offered and returned with 48 hours.
WHAT TO DO - Apart from what is provided on-site, the activities in Calpe and surrounding areas include fishing, golf, rock climbing, walking, cycling, scuba diving, water sports facilities, bowling, tennis and horse riding. There are many local attractions, including the new Terra Mitica adventure theme park which is just 20 minutes drive away, the Aqualandia water park and Mundomar sea life parks near Benidorm, safari parks, local markets, shopping centres, bars and a huge range of inexpensive high quality restaurants. All in all, there is plenty to enable you to enjoy your holiday.

TRANSPORT - The complex provides a daily (except Sundays) free minibus (9 seater) service, for most of the year, which operates to and from the Hotel Esmerelda (nearby breach), port area, Calpe town and to the beaches every hour (10:00 to 13:30, 17:00 to 20:15). It is advisable to book the day before to guarantee a seat. A hire car is therefore not essential but nevertheless recommended. Trains run from Calpe station south along the coast to Alicante via Benidorm and north towards Denia and Valencia.
The resort is easily accessible from the A7 Motorway. It is situated approximately midway between Alicante (50 minutes) and Valencia airports (70 minutes).
A ferry service operates from the nearby port of Denia to the island of Ibiza.

2008 prices, per person per night, minimum charge of 6 adults, 50% discount for 1st & 2nd child, 30% discount for 7th person.
Minimum stay 7 nights, less nights upon request. Supplement for less than 4 nights: +10% of total.
Due to logistics we do not allocate, at the booking stage, a particular apartment number. We will do our utmost to satisfy requests should you have a particular desire to be near the pool areas or away from them.
Arrivals after 5 p.m. -Departures must be before 10 a.m. Bungalows/apartments are prepared and cleaned at beginning of stay.
Damage Deposit: 100.00 Euros paid upon arrival at reception.

No animals are allowed. Arrival to the bungalow with an animal would forfeit the booking and loss of rental.
