Good restaurants in Jesus Probe. The chinese in Javea along the front was superb. 11 euro for everything. The food was incredible and kept coming. You must try it. Restaurants at port end very good but will cost you more. When you visit supermarkets you must take the number of the fruit, salad or veg. you buy and put it into the weighing scales. If you fail to do this they will send you back with everything. The fish from the supermarkets great. We purchased squid, prawns, tuna, sword fish etc. excellent value and cooked well on the bbq. Have been to Javea twice now and loved it. Watch your speed - we got stopped by police and couldn't understand why.We were doing the correct speed limit. They wanted 98 euros on the spot. We asked for evidence and in fact they got the wrong car (it wasn't us at all). Phew!! So be careful. Actually they didn't even apologise..... MRS Kathryn Mills
