villa Ochenta is situated on a fabulous mountain-side location in Magnolias which is on the Cumbre del Sol area between Moraira and Javea, and is set on a privileged south-facing, elevated, corner flat plot of 8OO m2, within a residential area. Accommodation - From the off-road parking space, there are six, fairly broad, steps to the front door, then the accommodation is completely flat throughout, and onto the pool terrace.
The large bright open-plan living room features patio doors leading to the pool terrace, a 32 inch flat-screen LCD digital satellite television*, DVD/CD/radio player with full surround sound and the ability to accept MP3, wave files and all commonly used music formats etc.
The dining area leads onto the fully-equipped kitchen, separated by a breakfast bar, and a small utility room.
The master bedroom has a double bed, with en-suite shower room, and features patio doors leading directly onto the pool terrace. The other two bedrooms have twin beds and share a separate bathroom.

Outside - The covered naya, terrace is furnished with a good quality patio dining set comprising a table and chairs, and ideal for taking meals at all times of the day, and sheltering from the sun.
The 8 x 4 metre rectangular swimming pool, with Roman steps access, has 50 m2 of sun terrace around it, with six full-length quality sun beds, and a built-in barbecue.
It should be noted that the plot is at a gradient, hence the views, so some parts of the garden are not accessible.
The villa has its own 8 x 4 metre parking space and there are 6 shallow steps from the road to the villa.
The villa itself is completely on one level with no steps from the front door to the pool terrace.
The gardens are landscaped, featuring fruit trees, terracing and ornamental planting, and there is a large Spanish-style barbecue to the terrace.

Internet Access - A free ADSL broadband connection is available for guests' use. You must take your own device to connect up: the router can be accessed by wireless, instructions at the villa.
NOTE: This is not a guaranteed facility as it may not be available whilst you are there (possibly due to problems with connection, tampering by previous guests, etc). This facility is provided by the owner for your enjoyment and the local contact will not be able to help with technical assistance should you require it. Internet cafes in town are available should you require them.

Air-conditioning & warm-air heating - All rooms are fitted with air-conditioning/heating units creating a very pleasant environment winter or summer - charged extra based upon meter readings taken at the beginning and end of your stay.

  • This was our first villa holiday and so we had nothing to compare it with but the Villa Ochenta lived up to our expectations. It was really well equipped. This was a winter (February) holiday so it was cold at night and the fact the villa had been empty for some time prior to our arrival meant we did need to use the heating units. The extra gas heater (mobile) for the living area was much appreciated.

  • We were offerred the use of Casa Ochenta a few days before departing for a different villa, which was unexpectedly unavailable due to water damage after a flood. Ochenta is advertised as standing in grounds of 800 square meters, which cannot be denied, however it is built on such a gradient that most of it is unusable (perhaps this could be made clearer in the property description) [VS - good advice & have now done]. Despite this we had a fabulous week in late May and wanted for nothing while we were there; the villa is positioned with a superb aspect of sea and hillside views and benefits from full sunshine from mid morning until late evening (at this time of year). It is fully equipped (apart from a dishwasher, which wasn't a problem for us) and also benefits from a landline phone (useful for incoming calls) and internet access which proved useful for tracking ash clouds over the UK!! After finding that our 3-year old had locked our passports in the safe with no idea of the combinaton number, the House Manager Christina, although unavailable at the time, dealt with the problem in a confident and reassuring manner and arrived with a key at 9.00pm the day before our departure so as to be sure that we had a good night's sleep without any further worry; we cannot thank her enough for that. Tips: After staying in other areas of Moraira in the past, I was concerned that the Cumbre Del Sol Area was a little remote, however after this stay I am now a convert and love the area for the fine views, spacious feeling of the villas (they all seem to stand in quite generous grounds) and the new Mercadona supermarket at the entrance to the 'Hill' (they are well stocked, clean and the staff are very pleasant). I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend the area, the villa or VillaSpain to any of my friends and look forward to a return visit as soon as I can arrange it.
