Denise Glenn (Ireland): email, Jul 2014, X OLD Carrera - The details were very accurate. We had chosen Carrera for its privacy and we were not disappointed. The gardens and pool were really secluded. The villa and pool were spotless when we arrived. We were unable to get the TV to work but the satellite dish was going to be replaced once we had reported it. The DVD did work. We also had a minor plumbing problem which was again dealt with promptly by Sandra, the local contact. However, we had an amazing holiday in an amazing villa and I have already recommended villa Carrera and Villa Spain to friends and family and I am already saving for a return visit.
Suzanne Murphy (Devon, UK): Online Holiday Questionnaire, Aug 2013, X OLD Carrera - We had an excellent holiday, our kids almost lived in the pool and we enjoyed the privacy the mature trees gave us. The under cover dining area was amazing and we seemed to spend all our time under there. We could not fault the weather at all as it was just hot from the time we got there to the time we departed but at times(mainly at night)it was just too hot to sleep and a bit of air conditioning wouldn't have gone a miss (hint hint). We will definitely be booking a return visit to this villa.

Fulfilled all our requirements for a family holiday.
A car is a must, but a variety of supermarkets are within 5 minutes drive.
Calpe has a great beach with some good restaurants and bars.

Roelens (France): Online Holiday Questionnaire, Aug 2011, X OLD Carrera - Mostly excellent. Kitchen was basic but fine. We had some great nights out at a bar called The Bed Centre walking distance from the Villa and we cant remember walking back. Great food even the dogs had something.
Tips: Driving from Roscoff in France to Calpe.First night stop in Bordeaux dont stay at thr Hotel Corintel.£65.00 per night ended up being £153.00 including bottle of wine and a slice of cheese ?.Second night in Hotel Fidalgo in Calamocha 50 km. south of Zaragoza £75.00 including dinner plus wine for 2 and the 2 dogs,we all staggered up the stairs that night great value. Next day arrive at Calpe.Total return cost petrol £320.0 and tolls £120.00.
The Vet we used in Roscoff was Cabinet Veterinaire 11, Place de Ieveche.29250 Saint Pol de Leon. and the charge for the 2 dogs Sandy and daisy was £75.00 the wife Ann was free. Taking the car was a great idea.
