- Mostly excellent. It was not possible to lock the main gate at night, that would have been preferrable. Fare to say there was a lock with a combination and we did not ask the local contact if it could be used. (VS - we had supplied the combination number). Tips: We really liked the beach and the beachfront at Javea, we spent most of our days and nights there. The Jalouise bar is highly reccomended
